Timeline of the development of Weidemann Group

In 1993, Bernd Weidemann founded M.A. Reinigungsservice GmbH in Magdeburg, a glass and building cleaning company with only a handful of employees.
In 1998 – five years after its foundation – the first independent branch office was opened in Berlin. The establishment of Menü à la carte Catering GmbH in 2000 expanded the previously offered services to include "catering in the social sector".
In 2002, M.A. Reinigungsservice GmbH was the first company in the industry to introduce SAP R/3, and in 2003 the quality management system was certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.
The first major name change to the current Weidemann Group GmbH as a holding company and the integration of all facility management processes into the newly founded MA Gebäudemanagement GmbH took place in 2004.
The establishment of numerous service companies opened up a range of new opportunities and led to the Group’s further expansion in the healthcare and social market in the following years. With a focus on facility management, catering and consulting, in 2012, WG Consult GmbH was founded with an emphasis on consulting services.
To give the Group a uniform external image, a new corporate design was developed in 2016 and the three subsidiaries were also renamed at the same time.

Robert Weidemann and Dominik Schröter have been in charge of General Management since 2016.
